I’m on the surface, touching and breathing the air.

I’m touching and breathing the water, the clouds, my skin, my hair, my voice.

I’m full and floating on the surface, crawling along the bumps, the waves, clapping with the music, splashing my eyes, tasting the rhythm, drinking the unison, rubbing my pounding heart that is surprised, delighted, relieved that the surface is so beautiful.

On my surface are tears, sweat, my face.

I can’t hide.
